Our speaker at our June 4th was Mike Monroe. His books have been featured on the Brighton Storywalk on the Tridge. He is a local artist that built the Restore the tree sculpture for the Grand Rapids Artfest. The sculpture is now at the Howell Nature Center. Our club made a donation to his program at the Howell Nature Center.

We have a program tomorrow at 7:30 am at the Brighton Chamber. Our program is the Livingston County Hunger Council. We will learn about the services they provide to the residents of our county.

See you tomorrow morning!

Something FREE and FUN to do 🎉 Bundle up and visit downtown Brighton to explore the newest StoryWalk on the Tridge!

The book featured is "My Backyard Used To Be" by Michigan author Lynn Baldwin and illustrated by Megan Elizabeth Baratta.

"Hit rewind on the view out your backdoor as this story zips back in time, showing readers how people, lifestyles, and land have changed over time. My Backyard Used to Be makes history feel current and accessible to young readers―and encourages them to discover what their own backyard used to be."
