Congrats to all of our winners today! We had some sensational cars participate and had such AMAZING sportsmanship from all of our scouts. Drew’s car won Best Design by a landslide, and our Rookie of the Year was a crowd favorite affectionately called Block of Wood!

Thanks to all of our families for their patience as we overcame our technical difficulties and for spending their day with us.

Thank you to all of our families and scouts who braved the rain to join us for our Crossover Event last night at Huron Meadows Metropark. It was a nice way to “officially” close out the year and celebrate all of the hard work our kids have put in.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming in some new faces and look forward to learning and leading together in the Fall.

Tonight the Bears completed their Bear Claws requirement. They learned about the different types of knives, as well as how to clean and care for them. They began with soap and moved onto wood. They all learned the Pocket Knife Pledge and about safety circles. We are so happy to report, that everyone loved this one and we ended the night first aid free! Thank you to the Masonic Lodge for hosting us. We so appreciate it!

The Bears held their own crossover event this fall complete with a bonfire and individual s’more kits for each family. Then they completed the Bear Necessities content, where they learned to pitch a tent and how to prepare for a camping trip. It was a gorgeous fall evening!
