The Colab

The Colab The Colab is a non-profit student center planned to open in the Brighton community. The center will be run by students, so their input is very important.

The center will feature an open space for students to work collaboratively, a coffee bar, and production technology's including; computer workstations, editing systems, photo and video equipment, music recording tools, t-shirt printing tools, and much more. We certainly will have the guidance from seniors but think its purpose would serve best if run by students with students making the majority o

f decisions. This will be beneficial in two ways, 1. It will give the students an opportunity to take pride and ownership in something as their own and 2. It will be a learning experience for anyone involved in the center to make the community a more student friendly place and to be part of something successful that they had a hand in.

OH SNAP! Thanks to Scott Mixer and his team at The Colab, along with the crew at Cooper & Binkley Jewelers we have an official "A Taste of Brighton PHOTO BOOTH".....so cool :) Don't forget to tag all your pics with to be featured in our final mash-up after the event!
