Thank you, WATE 6 On Your Side for the spotlight!

We are beyond grateful to have partnered with Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital the many organizations who worked tirelessley to make the first Discovery Day event a huge success. Together, we reached more than 140 students, providing valuable exposure to the many career pathways available in healthcare.

"We are bringing rural students in,” Sarah Kane said. “We get to have what we call the career hall, where their staff comes in, from clinical to non-clinical areas, and provides that one-on-one conversation and hands-on skills for students.”

More than 140 high school students explored healthcare careers at Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital during its first Discovery Day.

We hosted the annual Vanderbilt Graduate Medical Education Administrator Retreat yesterday, where nearly 70 GME leaders gathered to discuss key updates and requirements impacting residency training programs at Vanderbilt.

TCWD staff presented on the TCWD Residency Incentive Program and shared findings from the Tennessee Physician Workforce Supply and Demand study. Thank you to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Office of Graduate Medical Education for the opportunity to connect and collaborate to strengthen residency training programs and support Tennessee's future physician workforce.
