We’re just a couple days away from our 25th annual Strings & Stories, a songwriters’ night fundraiser benefiting programs here at the Brentwood Family Y. You’ll hear covers and even an original song from Music Mondaze, one of the music programs happening every week in the Teen Center.

And of course, hear the hits and stories from Jeffrey Steele, Bridgette Tatum, Chuck Cannon, Mark Trussell, and more, and the incredible impact stories from within our YMCA and how you can be a part of the future of that impact. Even the purchase of your ticket goes towards our life-giving programs.

Cable service to cardio machines has been restored. Staff thespians are still available for your convenience.

CABLE DISRUPTION
We anticipate the disruption to cable tv service on our cardio machines to continue through the weekend, as Comcast works on repairs.

During this time, we’ll have extra staff available upon request to act out your preferred tv show, film, or sporting event. Here they are practicing in case you choose a Christmas movie.

Upper Wellness Floor, Outdoor Wellness Terrace, and Main Elevator will be closed October 29 from 7am to 7:30pm as we say goodbye to some wellness equipment that’s reached the end of its lease and welcome some brand new equipment to start its journey with us 🙌🏻

Improvements will take place throughout the day. While our goal is to reopen Upper Wellness by 7:30pm, we’ll update you right here on socials if anything changes.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make our facility the best it can be.

We’re hiring opening & midday lifeguards! It’s a perfect job for adults, college students, homeschool & online schoolers, and others looking for flexible hours between 4:45am to 4pm.

It includes extra pay for opening shifts, a free Y membership, free lifeguard training, and probably some of the best teammates & supervisors one could ask for 😉☺️

Candy Corn Carnival is free and open to the entire community! Join us at the Brentwood Family YMCA from 4:30-6:30pm October 15. We’ll have pumpkin painting, face painting, s’mores, bounce house, obstacle course, sensory-friendly spaces, and more!
