Meet Bridget. 🧔 At just 14 years old, she’s already a cancer survivor, competitive volleyball player and advocate for the limb-loss community.

Bridget was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and underwent a right below-knee amputation at six years old. After a year of cancer treatment, her journey continued with severe femur fractures, multiple surgeries, osteoporosis and other complications that once left her family unsure if she would walk again.

Today, Bridget isn’t just walking. She’s competing at an incredible level, earning a spot on the USA Para volleyball team after working her way through club and high school volleyball. She’s also using her voice off the court, traveling to speak with lawmakers about improving access to prosthetic care for the limb-loss community.

We're proud to support Bridget with a specialized activity foot designed to better meet the demands of volleyball and help her keep doing what she loves. We’re excited to cheer her on as she continues making an impact, both on and off the court.

Boone’s journey has been one of incredible resilience. After facing limb loss at a young age, he’s continued to tackle every new challenge with determination, joy and a smile that inspires everyone around him.

Recently, Boone traveled to Prosthetic&Orthotic Associates for prosthetic care, where he received expert support from a team dedicated to helping kids live life without limits. We’re so grateful to Prosthetic&Orthotic Associates for not only providing exceptional care, but also for capturing these special moments along the way.

Every visit is another step forward, and we can’t wait to see where Boone’s journey takes him next. šŸ¤

Meet Callaway! 🧔

If there's an adventure to be had, chances are Callaway is already there. From rock climbing and horseback riding to swimming and gymnastics, she approaches life with courage and determination. After a climbing accident changed her life in 2021, JTF helped connect Callaway with the prosthetic care and support she needed to get back to doing what she loves. Today, we're proud to have Callaway serving as one of our JTF Ambassadors, inspiring others to embrace every adventure that comes their way.

Every year, around the anniversary of Jordan Thomas’s accident, we’re reminded of just how much can change from a single moment.

Looking back at last year’s 20th anniversary celebration, we’re especially grateful for the community that has grown alongside JTF over the years. What began with Jordan’s own tragedy has become a tremendous network of kids, families, supporters and friends committed to making sure children with limb differences have access to the prosthetic care they need.

More than 20 years later, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead. 🧔

Small acts of kindness can make a life-changing impact. 🧔

This National Nonprofit Day, we’re celebrating the incredible community that helps make our mission possible. Because of your support, children affected by limb loss have access to the prosthetic care they need to run, play, grow and thrive.

Looking for a way to support the Jordan Thomas Foundation? Here are a few ways to get involved:

šŸ¤ Give: Make a one-time or recurring donation.

šŸ“² Share: Help spread our mission on social media so more families and supporters can discover JTF.

šŸ›’ Shop: Link your Kroger Plus Card through Kroger Community Rewards and every eligible purchase gives back to JTF.

šŸ“ˆ Invest: Donate stock to help support the future of our mission.

No matter how you choose to support JTF, you’re helping children with limb loss build confidence, gain independence and pursue a life without limits. Happy National Nonprofit Day, and thank you for being part of the JTF family!

Meet Lincoln! šŸ’™

At just three months old, Lincoln underwent an above knee amputation after losing blood flow to his leg during open heart surgery. After years of multiple limb revisions and struggling to find a comfortable prosthetic fit, he connected with POA through JTF. Today, he’s walking and running pain free, and we’re proud to have him representing the Jordan Thomas Foundation as a JTF Ambassador.

This year, Lincoln was named our 2026 Ambassador of the Year. After his family moved across the country, he faced the challenges of starting at a new school with incredible courage. He took the initiative to meet with school administrators to educate them about limb difference, advocating not only for himself but for others who may follow in his footsteps. We can’t wait to see all he continues to accomplish.

Meet Jaelyn! šŸ’™

Swimmer, cheerleader, artist, baker and now JTF Ambassador, Jaelyn's joyful spirit and willingness to try new things make her a wonderful advocate for the limb loss community. Born with Werner's Syndrome and amputated at age eight, she continues to show that there's no limit to what she's capable of.

This year, Jaelyn graduated high school at just 16 years old and was awarded the Jordan Thomas Foundation Kaitlin Scholarship to pursue her higher education goals this fall. We couldn't be prouder to have her representing JTF and inspiring others to dream big, work hard and embrace every opportunity.

Luna’s smile says it all!

For children with limb loss, access to ongoing prosthetic care means more than keeping up with growth. It means continuing to chase dreams, build confidence and embrace every stage of life.

Luna has grown into an incredible young woman, and we’re honored to be part of her journey alongside Prosthetic&Orthotic Associates. Watching her thrive is a beautiful reminder of why this work matters and why every child deserves the care they need to live without limits.
