Meet Bridget. š§” At just 14 years old, sheās already a cancer survivor, competitive volleyball player and advocate for the limb-loss community.
Bridget was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and underwent a right below-knee amputation at six years old. After a year of cancer treatment, her journey continued with severe femur fractures, multiple surgeries, osteoporosis and other complications that once left her family unsure if she would walk again.
Today, Bridget isnāt just walking. Sheās competing at an incredible level, earning a spot on the USA Para volleyball team after working her way through club and high school volleyball. Sheās also using her voice off the court, traveling to speak with lawmakers about improving access to prosthetic care for the limb-loss community.
We're proud to support Bridget with a specialized activity foot designed to better meet the demands of volleyball and help her keep doing what she loves. Weāre excited to cheer her on as she continues making an impact, both on and off the court.
