The UN Global Compact Network USA (Network USA), the American chapter of the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, is pleased to announce that it now has 1,000 signatories in its network. To support its growth, the organization appointed new leadership in engagement and programming.

Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU will train partners in El Salvador to use its DreamBuilder curriculum, which has been used by female entrepreneurs around the world to build skills to launch or improve their own businesses.

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, 9:00 AM -11:00 AM (MT), United Nations Global Compact will launch its SDG Innovation Report at our F. Francis and Dionne Najafi Thunderbird School of Global Management Global Headquarters. This report discusses the importance of innovation in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and offers guidance to companies on how they can innovate to advance the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development. In addition, Network USA will host a panel discussion highlighting Network USA's SDG Innovation Program for Young Professionals.

This week, Thunderbird is hosting The Young SDG Innovators with a program sponsored by UN Global Compact, where participants engaged in sessions on sustainability that the Innovators can bring back to their individual global organizations. The Young SDG Innovators provides an opportunity for participating companies of the UN Global Compact to identify young talent within their organizations to collaborate and accelerate business innovation. US Soccer has announced new, landmark labor deals that provide equal pay to the US Women's and US Men's National Teams.

Included in the deals:

The world’s first-ever agreement to share prize money from the men’s and women’s World Cups 🏆

The new collective bargaining agreements will run through 2028.
