This page is in response to members of the Breda Fire Department wanting a place to show off the department and the Department's accomplishments. The Breda Community Fire Department is a volunteer fire department in Breda, IA. The fire department consists of 26 members, all of whom are trained to the Fire Fighter 1 standards as set forth by NFPA. There are members who are trained to the Fire Fight
er 2 and Instructor 1 level as well. The department trains every 2nd and 3rd Monday as well as other special training throughout the year. The department averages over 35 calls per year and services over 700 people in Breda and the surrounding areas. The department has one station equipped with four apparatus. Two engines, one quick attack unit, and one tanker/pumper.
