Thanks to the generosity of the Carroll County community, we have been able to serve residents who are in need of food since 1981. We relocated to 322 W. 3rd St in Carroll at the end of 2015. Yearly, Community of Concern provides food and emergency non-food items to hundreds of families, and thousands of people. Each cart of food is hand picked to serve the number of people in each household, whic
h can be up to $500 in items. We are proud to be a crisis/need based pantry, meaning we never turn anyone away regardless of income. We are thankful to the community of Carroll for continuing to support and donate to the food pantry through food drives, fundraisers, and volunteerism. Our food pantry is run by one paid employee and several dedicated volunteers. Our director, Roxie Reinart, is dedicated to meeting the needs of Carroll County residents. The Board of Directors works hard to apply for grants and seek out local partnerships in order to keep the food pantry fully stocked in order to never turn away someone who is hungry and in need of food.
