If you're planning on applying for the George Miller Memorial or Raymond LeBlanc Memorial Scholarships, or participating in the Dairy Jeopardy or Dairy Bowl contests at National Holstein Convention, be sure to submit your applications and entries by April 1.

The Raymond LeBlanc Memorial Scholarship was established in 2025 to honors the late Raymond LeBlanc. Beyond his professional achievements as a well-known cattle salesman and ring man, Raymond was passionate about mentoring young people in the industry

The college scholarship supports a student pursuing an agricultural degree who serves as a leader within the dairy industry and their communities. Applications are due April 1, 2026.

The George Miller Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 in remembrance of the late George Miller. George was an icon within the Holstein industry and dedicated to preparing youth for futures within the dairy industry.

The college scholarship supports a student pursuing an agricultural degree who serves as a leader within the dairy industry and their communities. Applications are due April 1, 2026.

Two memorial scholarships honor pillars of the Holstein community who were dedicated to mentoring the next generation of dairy youth.

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Current U.S. citizen attending a U.S. university full-time
- Current Holstein Association USA member, adult or Junior
- Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree
- Someone with dairy or agriculture-related experiences and career aspirations

During the first full day of YDLI, attendees dove into understanding their personality type and learned how to leverage their unique strengths to communicating effectively. They also explored how storytelling shapes their personal brand and how to transform how they show up and influence team culture. There were lots of connections, laughs, and fun along the way!
