Quick reminder! Monday July 8th we will be meeting at the Vernon rec dept for a unit planning meeting at 5:00pm. Feel free to bring your kiddos along to play on the playground and your dinner with you. I have a bunch of things with me to help start conversations to help us all see what we need to do to plan an awesome cub scout year! I know there are some folks away, if anyone is tech savvy enough coming to the meeting that would like to set up and execute zoom your welcome, if we can't, I will compile notes and send out what was discussed.
I can't stress enough, in order for this year to go well we need parent participation. This isn't going to be a huge burden if we have alot of assistance.
Below is a link to the updated cub scout leaders hand book. It is full of great information on what bsa uses as a model structure, how to plan meetings, budgets, and more. We will go over alot of this and see how we want this unit to flow.
