KF provided Central Lakes College 140 bags of salad mixes and greens for their food rescue program and college food pantry!

We honestly have been blessed with so much great vegetables so far this spring and are glad to see it be utilized in the community.

Thanks to our retail food rescue program, 763 pounds of delicious Costco food was delivered to our neighbors at Lakes Area Food Shelf.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are so pleased and grateful to announce that our Stock the Shelves Food Drive has concluded and was very successful for its first year! Here are the totals:

💰$13,500 Raised
🍗 3,500 lbs of food donated

Our 12 Crow Wing County Food Shelves and Meal Sites are so thankful for the community's generosity, especially during a time of increased need and shrinking resources.

We plan to have this food drive annually, so watch for our announcement next October. Thank you for taking care of your neighbors!

The Crow Wing County Food Access Coalition has launched the Stock the Shelves Food Drive to support local families facing food insecurity. You can make a difference by donating food or funds to ensure every person in Crow Wing County has access to nutritious meals.

All funds are distributed through Lakes Area United Way and shared evenly with local food shelves and meal programs. Your donation helps families eat healthy and thrive.
