Brainerd Area Sertoma Club is excited about the WonderTreks children’s museum coming to the Brainerd Lakes Area! We were able to present Aimee Martinsen, the Executive Director of this great organization, with a donation!

What a wonderful Sertoma meeting today at the Arb. We gave away our prestigious Service to Mankind Award to someone are outgoing President JD Berns assured us "Everyone I talked to said she was perfect for this award. Joey Halvorson uses her photography talents to donate time to a long list of non profits. She showed up at the meeting and thankfully my table mate and I talked her into staying for lunch. She was wondering why people were asking her if she was the speaker for the day, but she was truly surprised. She almost left because the invitation she got asked her to come and take some pictures and when Steve Kohls from the Dispatch showed up, she thought she wasn't needed. CONGRATULATIONS TO SOMEONE WHO TOTALLY FULFILLS THE REQUIREMENT OF EPITOMIZING SERVICE TO MANKIND. We also did a spontaneous fund raiser fore Operatrion Sandwich to raise $151 to pay for the peanut butter out in someone's car waiting to be dropped off at their site.
