District 5M9 Youth Outreach Scholarship Application for 2026–2027 is now available!

Our college students are home for summer break, and this is the perfect time to let them know about the District 5M9 Youth Outreach Scholarship. This scholarship supports students in 2‑year technical programs, bachelor’s degrees, and graduate programs who are preparing for careers working directly with youth.

The application can be downloaded on the 5M9 website: www.lionsof5m9.org
Just go to Resources → Forms — it’s the second item listed.

Clubs can print the cover letter to help students access the fillable form, or print the full application to hand out to potential applicants. Keep a few copies on hand so your members can reach out to eligible college students in your community.

What a great event!

The 2nd Annual Choose Kindness Community Event is coming up on Thursday, October 8 from 5:30–7:30 pm at Forestview Middle School.

This will be a great evening for the community to come together and enjoy food, prizes, vendors, and inspiration while celebrating the power of kindness.

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and help make it a night that strengthens connections and reminds us all that kindness matters.
