🧡 To every woman who signed up, every volunteer who gives their time, and every business and individual who believes in this program—thank you. Because of you, another incredible group of women will discover upland hunting, conservation, and the confidence that comes from trying something new.

But our work doesn’t stop because registration is full.

The 2026 Steady to Wing Women’s Upland Weekend is officially SOLD OUT. ✨

We’re incredibly grateful for every woman who raised her hand to try something new, spend a weekend learning, laughing, shooting clays, working dogs, and making memories in the field. The response continues to amaze us.

Our friends at the Missouri Headwaters Gun Dog Club are hosting their annual Snake & Porcupine Avoidance Training on June 25. This simple training can help your dog recognize and avoid hazards that could lead to serious injury in the field.

Whether your pup is a seasoned hunting partner or just getting started, this is one of those investments you hope they never need—but you’ll be glad you made.

On Friday night, we shared something we’ve been keeping close to our hearts.

This film, created by Eric Ian Film, debuted at our annual fundraiser and today we’re finally releasing it into the wild. 🪶

What makes it even more special is that Eric created it entirely on his own time and at his own expense. He believed in this community enough to tell its story, and we’re endlessly grateful for that gift.

For five years, Steady to Wing has been about far more than birds, dogs, and shotguns. It’s been about courage, friendship, mentorship, and watching women discover they are capable of more than they imagined. Somehow, Eric captured all of that along with a handful of happy tears (mostly mine).

We’re incredibly proud of what this program has become, and even prouder of the women who continue to make it what it is.

So grab a tissue, blame the dust if you need to, and enjoy a glimpse into the beauty that is Steady to Wing.

Thank you, Eric. You gave us something we’ll treasure for a very long time. ♥️
