Welcome. Pheasants Forever is the only national organization with a model of chapters keeping 100% of the funds they raise.

• Steady to Wing Womens Workshop & Youth Program We are Montana (PF), a nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasants and other upland bird populations in North America. While belonging to a larger national organization that has a voice on federal and state conservation policies, chapters are tasked with finding projects for their funds. Montana takes full advantage of this model using funds raised for projects locally as well as other areas in the state of Montana.

Walk the Crops 2026!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2nd Annual MSU Crop Walk! It was a great evening learning more about the work happening right here in the Gallatin Valley to create better habitat for wildlife and pollinators.

We explored different pollinator mixes and food plots and got a look at MSU’s early-maturing grain sorghum research. Events like this are a great reminder that agriculture and conservation can work hand in hand to benefit our working lands and wildlife.

A huge thank you to Perry Miller and David Baumbauer for sharing their knowledge with us, and to Yellowstone Bank for providing dinner in the field under the Big Sky.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up, asked questions, and continues to support habitat and conservation in our community.

PF Youth Program 2026 Graduates!

Congratulations to all of the kids who completed our Pheasants Forever Youth Program on Saturday! We loved seeing the next generation learn, grow, and get excited about hunting and the outdoors.

A huge thank you to Don Walker and all of our volunteers who helped make this program possible, and to all of the parents for bringing their kids out and supporting them along the way.

Happy hunting, graduates! We hope this is just the beginning of many great seasons ahead!

Come walk the crops with us! 🌾

We’re excited for the 2nd Annual MSU Crop Walk — an evening all about habitat, agriculture, conservation, and seeing firsthand how they work together for wildlife.

We’ll explore pollinator mixes and food plots, tour some seriously cool grain sorghum research, learn from the experts… and, of course, wrap things up with a cold beverage and good company. 🍻🌱

Steady to Wing is back this October, bringing another group of women into the uplands with a little courage, a lot of laughs, great dogs, good people, and probably a few feathers stuck somewhere they don’t belong.
