What a thrill to see intern, Rotary Scholar, and OneGreenThing Climate & Democracy Leadership Intensive participant Ashton Knatz speak to the Edinburgh Rotary Club this week. We were able to Zoom in and hear her presentation live.

Ashton shared her experience with eco-anxiety and how the international cohorts of young leaders in the Climate & Democracy Leadership Intensive have helped build community and work toward meaningful change in sustainability. She pointed out that our programming is aligned with Rotary International view of “Service Before Self.”

Thanks so much for the inspiration, Ashton, and for being part of this vibrant community of changemakers! Much gratitude to the Edinburgh Rotary Club for making it possible for us to be part of it and for all the Rotary scholarships to foster international cooperation and understanding.
