💫 💫 Not only do they have each other, they now have awesome moms, a sweet human sister, and a big fur-brother. There will be so many cuddles and so much playtime in both the house & backyard 🥰🦴.

🐾 Meet Sherlock 🐾
Sherlock is a sweet 5–6-year-old Maltese mix weighing about 18–20 pounds who is looking for a patient, understanding home through Green Dog Rescue.

Sherlock’s story hasn’t been an easy one. He came from a woman who was terminally ill and living in a tiny trailer. Sadly, he suffered from severe neglect for much of his life, including a constant flea infestation that left him anemic. He spent several days at the veterinarian receiving treatment and supportive care before he was healthy enough to be neutered and fully vetted.

Despite everything he’s been through, Sherlock is truly a loving little dog. 99% of the time he is absolutely wonderful — affectionate, well-trained, calm, and a joy to be around. However, Sherlock does have a bite history and can react if he becomes startled or frightened by sudden movement. Because of this, he will need an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust and security take time.

The good news? Sherlock has done wonderfully with several people in his current care and has shown that, in the right environment, he can thrive.

Sherlock deserves a second chance at a safe, stable, loving home where he can finally relax and feel secure. ❤️

Benny came to us because his dad was no longer able to care for him due to dementia 💔. He was loved by his dad, is now loved by his foster family, and we will make sure that he continues to only know love at a perfect furever home.🎉

💔 😢 Spike’s life was turned upside down when he suddenly found himself abandoned at his house all alone. His family had moved without him (we do not know the circumstances). 💔😢 A neighbor who couldn’t bear to leave him there asked us for help, and we immediately welcomed him into GDR.

😇 🎸 Despite his sad story, he is a true rockstar, acting like he knows nothing but love!! 🎸😇

👨‍🎤 4 year old, 20ish lb, handsome boy.. “rescued is our favorite breed.” 🤩
👨‍🎤His tail is always wagging! 🥰 Friendly with all humans, cats, and dogs (although, he does NOT require another dog in the household).
👨‍🎤 Extremely well behaved, perfect on a leash, potty trained. 💯
👨‍🎤 A true cuddly companion. Loyal and wants to follow his human(s) around everywhere.. including on the couch and in the big bed. 😇
👨‍🎤Wants his adopters to be walkers as he does enjoy walks.
⚡️⚡️All GDR dogs are spayed/neutered & fully vetted.
