Threads & Treads

Threads & Treads is a free clothing resource that provides gently used clothing for students and their families. We also offer new socks & underwear as we can.

We are open for shopping every Wed 230-6pm. Volunteers are welcome! Threads & Treads provides Northshore families free, quality donated clothing for school-age youth, teens, young adults and parents. Clothing items include appropriate clothing for the school day and special events, sportswear, shoes and accessories. All Northshore families in need of clothing assistance are welcome to shop. Each family is given 3 pairs of underwear and 3 pairs of socks once a month as supplies are available.

Please DO NOT show up to Threads & Treads until 3pm today! Today is the first day of school and CPMS isn't out until 2:35. The buses will be needing the space in the parking lot in front of the gym and there will be lots of parent pick-ups and students walking and crossing the streets. We will NOT be open until 3 for shopping or donations. Thank you for your understanding!!

Threads & Treads won’t be open for shopping until 3 PM this week. Canyon Park Middle School does not get out of school till 235. Please do not show up to park until 2:45 at the earliest! Thank you!!

Hope everyone had a great summer! We are ready for another successful school year serving our wonderful communities of families we have come to know and looking forward to meeting new families! We are open this Wednesday 8/26 from 2:30-6pm for shopping AND donations. Please be gentle on the donations. We finally got everything sorted from last year about mid-July. The bin won't be turned around until after the first day of school. After that, you can also drop donations there anytime. As always, please don't leave donations if there isn't a container to place them in and please bag up donations (no wads of clothing shoved into the bin).

Threads & Treads is going to open for a surprise shopping day tomorrow, Wednesday 8/5 from 9-12!! It will be shopping ONLY - no donations please!! Hope to see you out there!

Volunteer slots are open for volunteer hours for the school year 2026-2027. Go to our webpage to sign up! https://cpptsa.givebacks.com/w/TNT

Please note - 6th grade and older - must be an independent worker. Please be curteous and let us know as much in advance as you can if you cannot make it so we can open that slot back up. There is a video linked on the main page before you go to sign up for slots, please watch it as it gives you some good insight into what you are coming to do and helps you be prepared to jump in and get to work quicker! If you sign up, show up. We had quite a few people sign up who never showed last year. This takes away opportunities from others as well as leaves us in a lurch help-wise. We look forward to getting to know you this year!

We are closed for the summer and will not be accepting donations until Wednesday August 26th when we are back open for shopping too!

Please do not leave items in the breezeway like this.

We wanted to give a shoutout to our ATP Pathways Work Crew who come twice a week and work during the school year. They collect donations from the bin by the office and bring them down, take out all our recycling and garbage, vacuum the floors and do general tidying in the store. If there is time left, the will also work on sorting donations! We truly appreciate all their hardwork and time they spend at Threads & Treads. Our two programs have been partnering for years and we always look forward to meeting our new work crews as students graduate or move on to other jobs. A BIG thank you to ATP students and teachers for contributing to the success of Threads & Treads.

THANK YOU to everyone for another successful school year helping our community and beyond! For the 2025-2026 school year, we served over 7600 people, increasing our numbers from the previous school year by 1000 people! We gave out over 18,000 pairs of socks and underwear and spent around $15,500 to make sure we had enough stock on hand to give out every other month! We cannot do this without your support and generosity. Whether it is through donations of goods , money and/or your time, we appreciate everyone's contributions!

Donations of items are not available over the summer. Please hold them until the end of August if you are able! You are always welcome to donate funds to help us bulk up in preparation for next year as are purchases off our Amazon Wish List. ALERT!! Tomorrow, Wednesday June 24th, we will be open from 12:30-3pm for shopping. The school building closes by 3, thus we will also need to. Sorry for the last minute change, but we hope to see you tomorrow at 12:30!

Threads & Treads is open today 6/17 from 2:30 to 6pm. Next week, 6/24, we will also be open from 2:30 to 6pm as it will be our last day for the school year and then we will be closed until the end of August. We hope to see you today as well as next Wednesday. Congratulations to all the students who completed the school year and if we don’t see you before next school year, have a great summer!
