🎉 160 YEARS. TODAY WE CELEBRATE!

For 160 years, YW Boston has been bringing people together, opening doors, developing leaders, and advancing racial and gender equity.

Tonight, we celebrate that extraordinary legacy—and the people who have helped shape it.

From the women who founded our organization in 1866 to the leaders, partners, and community members carrying our mission forward today, this milestone belongs to generations of people who believed in the power of progress.

Tonight, we gather at the State Room in Boston for an evening of history, connection, celebration, and possibility.

✨ And if you haven't secured your ticket, there's still time to join us! A limited number of tickets remain available.

“This work is personal for me.” — Joké, YW Boston Board Chair

For Joké, supporting YW Boston is about helping women—especially women of color—claim their place in spaces that were never designed for them.

It's about developing leaders, expanding opportunity, and helping organizations open doors wider.

And it's personal. YW Boston helped make it possible for her to step into her own role as Board Chair.

As we celebrate 160 years, Joké is inviting our community to help make those same opportunities possible for others.

💚 During Legacy Giving Week, gifts are being matched dollar-for-dollar by the Devonshire Foundation, up to $25,000.

Your gift can help open the door wider.

160 years of progress. Your gift helps move us forward. 💚

For 160 years, YW Boston has helped open doors, develop leaders, and advance racial and gender equity.

And that work continues today.

From supporting women entrepreneurs to developing young leaders and helping organizations build more equitable workplaces, YW Boston is investing in people and the possibilities they create.

But progress doesn't happen on its own.

It takes people who believe in the work—and choose to support it.

During Legacy Giving Week, your gift can have twice the impact!

Thanks to the generous support of the Devonshire Foundation, gifts are being matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.

💚 Give $50. Make a $100 impact.
💚 Give $160. Make a $320 impact.
💚 Give $500. Make a $1,000 impact.

Every gift matters. Every level of generosity counts.

Legacy Giving Week ends October 19.

Help us make the most of this matching opportunity and invest in what comes next.

People power the legacy.

160 years didn't happen because of a building, a program, or a moment in time.

It happened because people kept showing up.

Participants and alumni. Staff and board members. Volunteers and advocates. Donors and partners. Friends and community members.

Generation after generation, people chose to give their time, talent, leadership, voices, resources—and belief in what was possible.

That's how a legacy is built.

This week, you can help carry it forward.

During Legacy Giving Week, every gift to YW Boston is matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000, thanks to the Devonshire Foundation.

Your gift isn't simply celebrating 160 years. It's helping make what comes next possible.

During YW Boston's Legacy Giving Week, you choose your 160.

It's about everyone having an opportunity to be part of what comes next.

And thanks to the Devonshire Foundation, your gift can go twice as far:

$1.60 → $3.20
$16 → $32

Today, YW Boston recognizes Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

We honor the histories, cultures, contributions, and resilience of Indigenous peoples and communities both past and present.

As an organization committed to racial and gender equity, we recognize that understanding history includes acknowledging the people, experiences, and stories that have too often been excluded from it.

Today, we honor Indigenous communities and the generations who continue to shape our shared history and future.
