WE RAN THAT CITY🌁

This past weekend the RYC team took on the SF Marathon, crushed it with awesome races across the board, AND raised over $23k that’s going straight to the kiddos we do this for.

“Dream team” doesn’t even begin to cover it. We are so unbelievably proud of every single person who ran, cheered, donated, or showed up in any way.

BIG NEWS 🎉 Student leaders from Run Your City’s Howard and Columbia chapters were honored at the 2026 Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Awards at the ESPYs.
This one goes out to everyone who showed up on a Sunday afternoon to run alongside a kid who needed exactly that.
Leading the charge: Kelis Armstrong, former Howard chapter president, and Lucy Henkel, former Columbia chapter president. Two mentors who built chapters where every kid belonged, moved, and grew.
This is what happens when college athletes show up for the next generation. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️✨ Together we can.

This past Saturday marked the launch of our very first Run Kochi program! Kids spent the day running, sharing two meals, and taking part in activities that reinforce the values we hope every child carries with them long after the run is over💙

We are halfway through an incredible week in Bugesera 🇷🇼✨ Run Bugesera is bringing hundreds of kids together through sports, mentorship, and community. From new friendships to unforgettable moments, We can’t wait to see what the rest of camp brings! 🏃‍♀️💙

Year 5 of Run Bugesera is officially underway. 🩵

On Saturday, we kicked off another year of Run Bugesera—bringing hundreds of kids together for a week of running, friendship, learning, and opportunity. Through sports, healthcare, education, and shared meals, this program is about so much more than crossing a finish line—it’s about building brighter futures, together. We can’t wait to share this year’s journey with you all! 🌍🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
