Today we remember the courage of those who stood in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989.
They risked everything to speak truth, demand freedom, and defend the inherent dignity of every human life.
At All Girls Allowed, we are reminded that the struggle for human rights is never confined to one nation or one generation. Around the world, millions of women and girls still face oppression, exploitation, and systems that seek to silence their voices and deny their worth.
The legacy of Tiananmen challenges us to reject indifference, stand with the vulnerable, and advocate for those whose freedoms are threatened. It reminds us that courage is contagious—and that even in the face of overwhelming power, truth endures.
Today, we honor the victims of Tiananmen Square, stand with survivors and their families, and recommit ourselves to defending the dignity, freedom, and rights of every woman, girl, and child.
We remember. We honor. We will fight on.
