Lighting the Way in Egleston Square!
As winter approaches and the days get shorter, we are excited to share some good news: significant streetlight upgrades have already been completed throughout our district—and the work is not finished! Additional improvements are planned for other areas of the district.
Egleston Square Main Street would especially like to thank our Board Member and owner of La Parada Dominican Kitchen, Yonatan Peña, who raised the need for improved street lighting during an Egleston Square Coalition meeting last year, advocating for a safer, brighter, and more welcoming Egleston Square.
A special thank you to William Moose for helping make this important connection, and to Michael Donaghy, from the City of Boston, for helping make these improvements possible, and continuing to work with us to improve lighting throughout the district.
