We were so thrilled to be joined by members of Tufts' 2026 FOCUS pre-orientation on Monday!

The incoming freshmen joined us at the Mystic Valley Opportunity Center to assist staff with assembling hygiene kits, packing and distributing food, and conducting community outreach.

ABCD was honored to be joined in Malden today by Governor Healey, Lieutenant Governor Driscoll, and Congresswoman Clark for a press conference addressing proposed federal cuts to Head Start and other early childhood education programs.

The data is clear: Head Start works and is one of the most effective antipoverty measures ever enacted. Cutting funding to this program would have disastrous consequences for thousands of families in Massachusetts and across the country.

Thank you Governor Healey, Lt. Governor Driscoll, and Congresswoman Clark for your support and advocacy!

So great to be a part of this week's Back-To-School Celebration at TD Garden!

The event, hosted in collaboration with the Salvation Army and the City of Boston, provided critical school supplies and clothing to thousands of students ahead of the start of the 2026-27 school year.
