Have you ever considered becoming a Freemason, or know someone who has?

This fall, on October 17th, the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts will host its One Day Class - a unique opportunity for qualified candidates to experience the degrees of Freemasonry in a single day while beginning a lifelong journey of brotherhood, personal growth, and service.

In this special message, Most Worshipful Brother Timothy S. McGavin, Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, shares why the One Day Class is such an important opportunity and what it means for the future of our fraternity.

Freemasonry isn't about one day; it's about a lifetime of learning, fellowship, and making a difference in your community. The One Day Class is simply the first step.
If you've been thinking about joining, or know someone who would make a great Mason, now is the time to take that first step.

Contact your local Massachusetts lodge or visit the Grand Lodge website to learn more about eligibility, registration, and upcoming deadlines.

Brethren, relax… it's just a blood test.

This September, the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts is proud to launch our Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign.

As Freemasons, we are taught to care for one another through Brotherly Love. That commitment also means taking care of ourselves. Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men, but when detected early, it is often highly treatable. A simple blood test and a conversation with your healthcare provider can make all the difference.

To help raise awareness, I encourage all Brethren attending our September Quarterly Communications - including our Grand Officers - to wear a blue necktie as a visible sign of support for those affected by prostate cancer and as a reminder of the importance of early detection.

Take care of yourself. Encourage a Brother to do the same. Together, we can spark conversations, raise awareness, and help save lives.

Wear blue. Get screened. Look after one another.

Today, as we celebrate the 250th Birthday of the United States of America, we pause to reflect on the enduring ideals that have guided our nation since its founding; liberty, equality, justice, and the unwavering pursuit of a more perfect union.

For 250 years, generations of Americans have answered the call to serve, sacrifice, and strengthen our communities. As Freemasons, we remain committed to the timeless values of brotherly love, relief, and truth - principles that continue to inspire service to others and the betterment of society.

On this Independence Day, may we honor those who secured our freedom, those who continue to protect it, and the communities that make our nation strong.

From the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, we wish you and your families a joyful, safe, and meaningful 4th of July.

Happy Independence Day, and Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸
