Despite the Nor’easter forcing this year’s Ride & Stride for Food event (hosted by Three Squares New England) to be cancelled, Team SFH still went the distance — and then some!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Team SFH raised more than $12,600 to support food services at St. Francis House, exceeding our fundraising goal.

We recognize that a nutritious meal is about more than food. It provides comfort, stability, and connection for thousands of our guests experiencing homelessness. We’re so grateful to everyone who donated, fundraised, shared our campaign, and showed up for our community. ❤️

Art, creativity, and community in action. 🎨✨ For the third year, HarbourVest hosted an art fundraiser featuring original work from St. Francis House guest artists alongside pieces created by their own staff.

The best part? Every dollar raised directly supports our Expressive Art Therapy Program, helping create more opportunities for guests to explore creativity, build connection, and express themselves through art.

What a special day at St. Francis House! 🎉 Today, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of 41 LaGrange Street, our brand-new 126-unit mixed-income housing community, including 70 units of permanent supportive housing for adults exiting homelessness.

We were proud to celebrate alongside our community partners, elected officials, and LaGrange residents — and to hear remarks from our CEO Karen LaFrazia, Archbishop Richard G. Henning, Bill Grogan of the Planning Office for Urban Affairs, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭, State Rep. Lydia Edwards and State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Patricia Marinilli of Bank of America, and Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn.

The ceremony closed with words from Brianna, a current LaGrange resident, whose story was a powerful reminder of what this milestone truly means.

41 LaGrange Street is more than 126 apartments. It’s a place to call home, a community to belong to, and a new opportunity for people to move forward with dignity and stability.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Thank you for celebrating this moment with us! ❤️
