The strongest connections aren’t built by proximity. They’re built by shared purpose.💫 Roundtrip Capital was a reminder of what’s possible when talent, capital, and community move together.

ALPFA Boston and ALPFA Puerto Rico brought together founders, investors, and professionals to share ideas, exchange experiences, and explore how entrepreneurship, investment, and collaboration can create opportunity across borders and industries.

A huge thank you to our sponsors and community partners who helped make this evening possible: IncentivesPRO, Tech Week, Latinas in Tech Boston, and Raices Cyber. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversations throughout the night. Events like these remind us of the power of connection to create access, expand opportunities, and strengthen the future of our communities.

The conversations started in the room, but the impact continues beyond it. ✨

“Sorry, I can’t come... I’m not a runner.” 🏃‍♀️❌

Good news: you definitely don’t need to be.

Whether you’re running the full route, jogging a few blocks, walking with friends, or just showing up for the salsa lessons and food, Run & Salsa is for everyone! 💃🌮

Grab your friends and join Run This City Run Club, ALPFA Boston, Ritmo Caleno Boston, and Provenza Lounge for a night of movement, music, and community.

Come for the run, stay for the salsa. Or come for the salsa and stay for the fun. We won’t judge. 😎

Last week, ALPFA Boston brought together founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals for Beyond the Hustle: Building Businesses That Last.

The evening was a reminder that building a successful business is rarely a straight path. Growth often comes with uncertainty, difficult decisions, and moments that test both leadership and resilience.

A special thank you to our panelists, Robinson Aquino, Evan Silverio, Guillermo A Molina Jr, REALTOR®, and Andreina Viera Silva, MBA for sharing honest insights from their own journeys. From managing risk and navigating change to building strong teams and creating sustainable systems, the conversation offered practical lessons that attendees could apply regardless of where they are in their entrepreneurial journey.

What stood out most was the willingness of our speakers to move beyond success stories and discuss the realities behind building something that lasts. Those candid perspectives created meaningful dialogue and valuable takeaways for everyone in the room.

Thank you to JBS Corp for hosting us, to everyone who joined the conversation, asked thoughtful questions, and contributed to a night centered on learning, growth, and community, and to our photographer Kermit Vargas for capturing the energy, connections, and conversations that made the evening so impactful.

At ALPFA Boston, we believe that entrepreneurship thrives when people have access to shared experiences, trusted networks, and opportunities to learn from one another. We are excited to continue creating spaces where those connections can happen.

The biggest takeaway from Suited for Growth? 💭
There’s power in being in the right room with the right people.

From honest career advice to conversations that sparked new confidence, students walked away with insights, connections, and perspectives they’ll carry into their next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their stories, and helped create a space centered on growth, opportunity, and community. A huge thank you to John Hancock for investing time into supporting the next generation of leaders.👏

Last month, we brought together students and professionals for an evening centered on growth, connection, and opportunity through ALPFA Boston’s Suited for Growth.

What made the event meaningful was not just the conversations on stage, but the conversations happening throughout the room. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with professionals across industries, ask honest questions about career paths, and begin building relationships that can shape what comes next.

Too often, early career success is framed around resumes alone. But access matters. Exposure matters. Confidence matters. Events like this are designed to help bridge that gap by creating spaces where students can learn, connect, and see themselves in rooms they may not have imagined before.

Thank you again to John Hancock, the panelists, and everyone who attended, shared their experiences, and invested time into supporting the next generation of leaders. We are grateful to the speakers, volunteers, and partners who helped make the evening possible and contributed to creating a space centered on connection, growth, and opportunity.

We are excited to continue building spaces that create opportunity, foster connection, and support long-term professional growth across our community.

The countdown is on! Only 1 week left!⏳

The most valuable business lessons usually come from the moments no one posts about: the setbacks, the uncertainty, the pivots, and the decisions that change everything. That’s the side of entrepreneurship we’re diving into at Beyond the Hustle.

This isn’t just about motivation. It’s about learning what it actually takes to build something sustainable, navigate challenges, and grow with intention.

Whether you’re building a business, exploring entrepreneurship, or looking to think bigger in your career, this is your space to connect, learn, and walk away with insights you can apply to your own journey.

Roundtrip Capital Boston is bringing together Latino founders, investors, operators, and innovators for a night of big conversations, powerful networking, and even bigger energy.

Hosted at the UMass Club, this collaboration between ALPFA Boston, ALPFA Puerto Rico, and IncentivesPRO will spotlight investing across emerging markets, diaspora-driven innovation, and the movement of Latinos building and reinvesting back home.

And after the panels? We network with salsa, plena, merengue, and a room full of people making moves. 💃🏽

Most founders insure their business. Few protect what they’re actually building.

Meet Evan Silverio, President and Owner of Silverio Insurance and Diverse Real Estate, joining our panel for Beyond the Hustle: Building Businesses That Last.

Evan works with business owners and investors who want to grow without leaving themselves exposed. He’s seen how small decisions compound over time and helps clients think strategically about protection, leverage, and long-term stability.

What he’ll bring to the panel:
→ How to think about risk before it costs you
→ Where leverage builds wealth and where it breaks founders
→ Why protection is a growth strategy, not an expense
