Join us for a special sneak preview of Munkács Miracle

Tuesday, October 6
7:00–8:30 PM
Newton location will be provided prior to screening

Born days apart in 1930 and both raised in Munkács, Czechoslovakia, Holocaust survivors Magda Bader and Ruth Cohen were transported to Auschwitz on the same day from the same spot when they were 14 years old. A chance encounter with Deborah Coltin, Lappin Foundation’s Executive Director, brought them together after 81 years.

A Q&A with Magda Bader and Executive Producers Deborah Coltin and Sarah Ovadia will follow the screening. Light refreshments will be served. The film is appropriate for middle school students and older.

Something to think about. The Jewish population still hasn’t recovered from the Holocaust. This is why our mission is so important, so nothing like this ever happens again.

Last night’s Boston 3G Happy Hour was such a great reminder that, in this crazy world, there’s something special about being surrounded by people who just get it.

So grateful for this community, the connections, the laughs, and the shared understanding.

(And also pretty awesome that our waitress was a 3G and we ran into a 2G who was there for a corporate event!)
