Happy Caturday! 😺When we look at our cats curling up for a long nap, we may ask how did this "ferocious" creature make its leap off the African plain? 🐈

To answer this question, and others like "do lions and tigers meow," we can look to the research of Jonathan Losos, scientist and cat lover.

In his free, hybrid Evolution Matters talk and book presentation he will present fascinating ideas from his new book "The Cat’s Meow: How Cats Evolved from the Savanna to Your Sofa" . Jonathan is Director, Living Earth Collaborative; William H. Danforth Distinguished University Professor in Arts & Sciences, Department of Biology, Washington University in St. Louis.

Saturday, September 21, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Register to attend in person or online: https://tinyurl.com/CatsMeowTalk.
