Recreational Softball League Serving the Girls of South Middleton Township
South Middleton Youth Softball Association is a non-profit organization for girls age 4 to age 14 in our township. Through the lessons taught in team sports we hope to enhance our players' confidence level, self-esteem and physical abilities that will help them throughout life. Teams are currently sponsored in the 6U, 8
U, 10U, 12U and 14U divisions through the West Shore Minors Softball League. SMYSA sponsors teams for girls who wish to keep playing softball in the fall. Clinics are also held throughout the year to develop our players' skills. Our 6U league is a great way to girls to learn the basics of softball in a relaxed, fun, no pressure atmosphere. The 10U position features girls pitching from 35 feet using modified rules. The 12U and 14U division use a 12 inch ball and ASA softball rules.
