IRON MUSTANG WRESTLING CAMP

WP Mat Club wrestlers: your exclusive registration window is almost over.

Through June 5, registration is open exclusively to WP Mat Club wrestlers. After June 5, any remaining spots will be opened to wrestlers from other clubs.

As an added benefit, WP Mat Club wrestlers receive a special camp registration rate of just $10 per wrestler. Pricing for non-WP wrestlers will be announced when registration opens to outside clubs on June 5.

Join NCAA Champion and Penn State All-American John Hughes for three days of technique, drilling, hard work, and live wrestling.

The 27th Annual NHSCA National Duals took place this weekend in Virginia Beach, bringing together 480 of the top wrestling teams from across the country for what is considered the toughest and largest dual-team event in the nation.

Four of our Mustangs proudly took to the mat, representing three different clubs from our area:

Sawyer Bell (Middle School)
Xandria Yocum (Girls)
Aden Shepard (High School)
Evan Shepard (High School)

Outstanding job by all four athletes competing on the national stage and representing West Perry with pride.

Last week, West Perry Athletics held its annual athletic awards ceremony a special evening to highlight each sport, recognize our seniors, and celebrate the accomplishments of our student-athletes. Coaches also had the honor of selecting recipients for the Most Valuable Player and Coaches Awards.

2026 IRON MUSTANG WRESTLING CAMP

Three days. One goal.

The WP Mat Club is bringing in NCAA Champion and Penn State All-American John Hughes for an intense 3-day wrestling camp focused on technique, drilling, pace, and live wrestling.

July 6, 7, & 8
West Perry High School

Open to established WP Mat Club wrestlers grades 1st - 6th and novice (1st/2nd year) Middle and High school wrestlers.

Other MS/HS wrestlers will be asked to assist the youth wrestlers.

Camp Schedule: • 8:30 AM – Drop Off
• 9:00–11:00 AM – Session 1
• 11:00–12:00 PM – Lunch
• 12:00–2:00 PM – Session 2
• 2:00–2:30 PM – Break
• 2:30–3:30 PM – Hard Drill / Live Wrestling

$10 per wrestler
Limited to 50 wrestlers

Registration opens to other clubs June 5 for remaining slots.
