A heartfelt thank you to Christian Care Retirement Community for the generous donation of nightstands, and to Kelley Householder for helping transport them to Grace & Mercy!

These nightstands will be a wonderful addition to our home and will be put to good use by the women and families we serve. We are so grateful for community partners and volunteers who come alongside us to support the mission of providing hope, healing, and a safe place to call home.

"A new beginning,” says Jen Brown, a recent graduate of Hannah’s House Recovery Home for Women and Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing.
Family restoration is a beautiful thing that comes through recovery, healing, and transformation. We are so proud of Jen for the courage she has shown and for embracing the willingness to change her life for the better.

Thank you, Jen, for stepping into the role of a role model and inspiration for others. Your story is a reminder that hope, perseverance, and faith can lead to lasting change and new beginnings.

Celebrating a new Graduate, Jamie Chaffins and her journey at Grace & Mercy. “Learning that I can handle myself and my kids on my own.” Jamie states is very important to her. Being a good parent is also an important role she has worked hard at during her stay. We’ve loved watching the growth of your family and thank a community that continues to support your next steps.

Thank you for a beautiful evening Murray Missionary Church! Hannah’s House along with Grace & Mercy staff and residents enjoyed a night of hospitality.

Tonight was such a beautiful reminder of what community and compassion can look like. We are incredibly thankful for the love shown to us by the women of Murray Missionary Church. From a wonderful dinner, to a cooking class, to games and fellowship, every part of the evening was filled with joy and encouragement. ❤️
After sharing about the programs at Community Care of Northeast Indiana, several women shared powerful testimonies that reminded us all how God works through every story. We left feeling loved, encouraged, and grateful for the opportunity to connect with such genuine hearts.

Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and for investing into the lives of women and children in our homes. What a special night!

Did you know that at Grace & Mercy, we have on-site laundry facilities where each resident and her children have access to something as simple — yet essential — as a washer and dryer?

God’s timing was evident through the generosity of ‘Girls Night Out’ women’s group from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The very week a washer and dryer stopped working was the same week we were contacted about a donation. St. Joseph’s not only provided us with a brand-new washer and dryer, but also blessed our home with essential items that help families feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated.

We are deeply grateful for their kindness and for being the hands and feet of Jesus in such a meaningful way. ❤️

What a difference one life can make! Janet you’ve inspired many! Thank you!

After years of faithful service, we are saying goodbye to someone who has truly made a lasting impact on our community—our incredible nurse, Janet. 💙

Janet has poured so much care, compassion, and wisdom into the lives of the residents at Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing and Hannah’s House. From helping women understand their health, to encouraging healthy lifestyles, to simply being a steady, kind presence—her influence has been felt in countless ways.

She has a heart for serving others, and it shows in everything she does. Janet, thank you for walking alongside our residents with such grace and dedication. You have been a blessing to CCNEI, and your absence will be deeply felt.

While we will miss her in this role, we’re grateful that you can still see Janet’s smiling face as she continues to serve by volunteering at Community Thrift downtown. 💛

We are so grateful for you and pray this next season of retirement is filled with rest, joy, and continued purpose. You will always be part of the CCNEI family. 💐

We were honored to welcome Matt Kovar, Plant Manager, and Lori Davis from 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics, who generously brought a donation to support our transitional home, Grace & Mercy.
The visit held a special surprise as well—former resident Kayla Chapman, now an employee at 20/20, joined them. Kayla shared her powerful journey, expressing deep gratitude for programs like Grace & Mercy and for employers who believe in the power of change. Her story is a beautiful reminder of what’s possible through hard work, personal growth, and second chances.
