Today, we want to recognize and thank Andrea Dimond for five wonderful years of service to Community Care of Northeast Indiana!

Andrea began her journey serving women and children at Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing and has spent the past three years pouring her heart into the women at Hannah’s House Recovery Program.

Through her prayers, compassion, dedication, and passion for helping others, Andrea has touched countless lives and made a lasting difference in the women and families we serve. ❤️

Andrea, job well done! Although we will miss having you on staff, we are so thankful for the love and faithfulness you have shared throughout these five 1/2 years.

💗 Want to help, but wondering how?

Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference. 🏡

Here’s a look at some of the everyday household supplies we currently need for our transitional homes.
Some of our greatest needs right now are laundry soap, paper towels, trash bags of all sizes, and toilet bowl cleaner.

Every item donated goes directly toward supporting the women and children living in our homes and helping provide them with a safe, comfortable place to rebuild and start fresh. ❤️

WE’RE HIRING: PART-TIME WELLNESS NURSE 💙

Community Care of Northeast Indiana is seeking a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Wellness Nurse to serve women and children in our transitional and recovery housing programs.

This position is a wonderful opportunity for a nurse who wants to use their skills beyond traditional healthcare—building relationships, encouraging healthy choices, and helping women move toward greater stability and wellness.

Position includes:

* Approximately 16–20 hours per week
* Health assessments and ongoing wellness support
* Education on nutrition, fitness, prevention, and healthy living
* Support for mental and emotional well-being
* Collaboration with staff and community healthcare providers
* Serving women in both our transitional and recovery programs

At Community Care, we believe wellness is an important part of helping women move from relief to restoration and long-term growth.

As the week comes to an end, we want to recognize Outdoor Concepts for their generous donation of pavers to help extend our backyard walkway!
We also want to give a special shoutout to Bob Monce for bringing the bobcat and the wonderful youth from Life Church for rolling up their sleeves and helping with the installation. We are so grateful for amazing community partners who invest their time and resources into making our space better. Community support in action!

We are filled with gratitude as we look back on the month of August. This past month, we had the absolute honor of celebrating three beautiful baptisms within our community.Watching these individuals take this meaningful step of faith and new beginnings is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
