We're Hiring at Community Care of Northeast Indiana!
Community Care of Northeast Indiana is currently seeking two compassionate and dedicated individuals who enjoy working in a family-oriented Christ-centered environment while helping women and their children build brighter futures.

Office Coordinator
This administrative position plays a vital role in supporting our programs and residents through:

Client services and support
Workshop coordination and assistance
Clerical and office administration
Data entry and record keeping
Communication with community partners
General office support and organization

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a nonprofit, social services, recovery, behavioral health, or mental health setting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for serving others and supporting positive life change

Resident Support Specialist (Second Shift)
This hands-on position supports the daily operations of our residential programs during second shift. The Resident Support Specialist works closely with residents and staff to help maintain a structured, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include:
Assisting residents with meal planning and preparation
Supporting household management and daily routines
Providing encouragement and accountability to residents
Assisting the Program Manager with evening operations
Helping maintain a safe, clean, and positive living environment
Supporting program activities and resident engagement

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in human services, recovery, mental health, residential care, or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to establish healthy boundaries while offering compassionate support
A heart for serving women and families as they pursue stability and personal growth

Today, through generous grant funding we were able to pay off the mortgage at Hannah's House, our recovery home for women securing housing for women desiring change, healing, and hope. The Wells County Foundation, Inc.

Strong communities are built when people have opportunities to overcome challenges and move forward.

Funding approved for Hannah's House will help reduce the mortgage on this residential transitional home, allowing more resources to be directed toward supporting women as they work toward stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term success.

Investments like this help ensure that life-changing programs remain available for those who need them most.

Dawn Castor wanted a new life for herself, and she worked hard to make it happen. We are incredibly proud of the woman she has become and the way God is working in her life. During her time at Hannah's House and Grace & Mercy, Dawn demonstrated determination, perseverance, and a willingness to embrace change. Her accomplishments are a testament to her hard work and faith.

"A peace I've never had before."

Those were the words shared by Brooke Schwartz, a recent graduate of Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing, as she reflected on her journey through the program.

Brooke is an incredible woman who found renewed hope, strength, and determination by embracing openness and vulnerability. Her courage to trust the process and take steps forward in faith has been inspiring to witness.

Congratulations to Brooke and her family on this significant achievement. We have truly enjoyed watching their story unfold and seeing the transformation that has taken place along the way.

"Healing and discovery have been my journey while staying true to myself," shares Ashley Garza, one of Grace & Mercy's recent graduates.

Grace & Mercy Transitional Housing is a 6- to 12-month Christ-centered program that provides women and their children with a safe, structured environment where they can focus on personal growth, stability, and moving forward with confidence.

Ashley embraced every opportunity for growth and succeeded in everything she set her mind to accomplishing. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and excited to see all that the future holds for her. We celebrate Ashley's journey and wish her continued success as she begins this next chapter of her life.
