Not softball related, but community related! Spread the word the community is looking to take your donations after the garage sale weekend! 

Sometimes these garage sales are offering great softball gear! If you’re still needing cleats bags, bats, gloves, check out the local garage sales.

Garage Sale Weekend – What To Do With Leftovers?
As we plan ahead for Garage Sale Weekend, if you’ve still got items left, don’t toss them—our community has some great options to put them to good use! ♻️

Helping Hands
Helping Hands would love to take gently used boys’ and girls’ clothes and shoes off your hands! Be sure to check their FB post for their most-needed items.
📍 Drop-offs welcome Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–5 PM

Community Thrift - Bluffton, In
Community Thrift is a ministry of Community Care of Northeast Indiana. Proceeds help provide housing and recovery services for women and children—so your donations make a real impact.
📍 Drop-offs welcome Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM and Saturday 9AM-3PM.

The Closet
The Closet is a store that provides free clothing, diapers, and necessities for newborns to size 8.
📍 Drop-offs welcome Monday-Thursday, 9:00-4:30 and Friday from 9:00-12:00pm.

Bargain Hut
The Bargain Hut is a Non-for-profit thrift store that gives back to the community in Wells County Indiana. They are accepting a variety of items including clothes, household items, decor, toys, outdoor items, games, antiques, small appliances (microwaves, bread makers, mixers) and much more! They are not currently accepting donations for large pieces of furniture.
📍 Drop-offs welcome anytime at the back of the building.

Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity ReStore
A semi from ReStore will be in town:
📅 Monday, May 4
⏰ 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 City parking lot across from the post office

Forgotten Children Worldwide will also be there on Monday to accept donations of items that ReStore can’t take. Thank you!

Softball Opening Day is May 4th! 🥎

This year, the Softball League is proud to support the Boys League on their Opening Day. We’d love for everyone to come out and join us as we celebrate Wells County Youth Sports and kick off the 2026 season together!

Even if your daughter isn’t playing that night, please have her wear her jersey and be part of the fun. Let’s pack the stands and make it a great community celebration!

This week is played at Bluffton High School, Roush Park and various other participating schools. Some travel is required in order to participate in this league.
