We're excited to welcome Erica Hartman, a Graphic Design student from Ball State University, as our summer intern.

Throughout the summer, Erica will be helping with creative projects, communications, and design work that supports our mission of enhancing the present and future quality of life in Wells County.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice, and for the freedom their service protects. As we enjoy time with family, friends, and community this Memorial Day, let us take a moment to reflect and give thanks. 💛

Meet Sarah MacNeill, a member of the Wells County Foundation Board of Directors.

When asked what she wishes more people knew about the Foundation, Sarah shared:
“I wish more people knew about the many organizations we empower to do good work throughout our community.”

Meet Seth Whicker, Chair of the Finance Committee for the Wells County Foundation Board of Directors.

When asked why the Foundation is important to him, Seth shared:
“The Community Foundation is an important pillar in our community. The Foundation gives in so many ways to helping the community we live in to prosper and grow. The Foundation provides scholarships, grants for parks, concert series, teacher classrooms, the local food pantry, painted alleyways and so much more. The Foundation has also recently created the Bluffton Land Trust to invest in aging buildings in Bluffton for revitalization to create a vibrant downtown. ”

We’re grateful for Seth’s leadership and the role he plays in helping support the Foundation’s long-term impact across Wells County.
