Three students. One unforgettable experience.

Our Club was joined today by this year’s RYLA honorees: Laren Schneider (Southern Wells), Cora Kunkel (Bluffton), and Connley Rupp (Norwell). They told us what they learned and plan to bring to their schools as leaders.

This week, we hosted David Rigney, candidate for Wells County Sheriff, as the first of many April speakers who are running for office. Upcoming speakers will share their vision with our club at noon at the Wells County Public Library and include:
4/7 - Travis Holdman, candidate for IN Senate
4/14 - Chip Swindell, candidate for Wells County Sheriff
4/28 - Blake Fiechter, candidate for IN Senate

This winter, our Club continued a tried and true tradition and delivered “non-powered word definition devices,” as member Lee VonGunten coined dictionaries, to each 3rd grader at Bluffton-Harrison Metropolitan School District, Southern Wells Community Schools, and Northern Wells Community Schools.

Through the years, our Club has delivered 6,600 dictionaries to students. We are committed to fostering the pursuit of lifelong education and empowering young learners.

Did you know 191 elementary schoolers in Wells County are delivered a bag full of food each Friday to address weekend food insecurity? Our Club is always happy to provide service in helping Feeding Tomorrow’s Future Today make this a reality. This week, we gathered to pack this week’s 191 bags and to learn more about the program.
