Ready for school! ✏️ This little girl is excited to attend school in Zomba, Malawi. Her hoodie, donated by a family in Ossian, will keep her warm and comfortable through her classes.

Several of our latest clothing shipments are benefiting people of all ages in Malawi, where the donations are both needed and appreciated. Your donations continue to share love, support, and dignity to people as they go to school and work. 💙

Congratulations, Kody! 🎉

FCW's CEO/Executive Director, Kody Kumfer, received the Distinguished Service Alumni Award from his Alma Matter, Trine University! This award celebrates alumni for "outstanding service to society in his or her profession, personal achievement or community."

Kody was honored for his leadership of FCW as well as his dedication to the local community, serving on the boards of the Wells County Chamber of Commerce, Wells County Foundation, and Wells County Dream Center. He is also president of the Ossian Revitalization Committee.

The award was presented on Oct. 2 at the Homecoming Celebration Dinner by Tim Raftery, president of the university’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, and Tony Kline, Ph.D., university president.

Thank you, Trine University for recognizing the difference Kody is making both in our community and around the world.

Changing a family's future can start with simple practices. 💫

Savings Groups help empower parents and caregivers of FCW sponsored children through financial literacy training, community bonding, and a safe place to keep and grow their savings. 💵

These groups (typically 15-25 adults) meet regularly to combine savings and give loans to members for an agreed service fee that will help grow the savings.

Through saving together, these caregivers have access to safe loans to improve their farms or small businesses. Plus, the education and accountability supports communities to make optimal financial decisions and avoid exploitive lenders. 💡

September 26 is the National Day of Praise and Worship! While this is a U.S. holiday, we recognize the worship happening around the world. 🌍️🎵 🙌

In this video, students and staff at the FCW Uganda vocational school, Kipindi Mpito, are worshiping and sharing devotions before breakfast. Their joy and gratitude is inspiring!

FCW supporters and caregivers LOVE to watch children and young adults praise God in their own languages and dances. We can enjoy these windows into the beautiful cultures while regional partners and caregivers can bond with young people through teaching them local dances and praising God together. 💙
