Water for everyone! 💧

Thanks to generous donors, FCW can drill freshwater wells (also known as boreholes) for orphan homes and villages.

The clean water is essential for keeping communities hydrated and healthy—but it's not just about the water...

When children need to fetch water miles away from the community, they spend hours on these daily chores instead of going to school or studying. They would also need to go beyond the community's protection and are vulnerable.

Accessible clean water is just one step to raising children who are safe, healthy, and happy!💙

Look at that confidence! 💫 The students at FCW's flagship ministry, Kipindi Mpito, have finished their first term. Already, the visiting team could see that they are confident in their new job and life skills and full of hope for the future.

Help us continue to pray for these students as they return from break and start to learn even more.🙏 They've grown so much over their first term, but the best is yet to come!

This is what support looks like! 💙

Jenna felt the call to sponsor when she was a teenager. She decided to "take the plunge" and sponsor a little boy named Joel. For over 15 years, Jenna has loved reading his letters, seeing his pictures, and watching him grow up into a responsible young man.

Thanks to her support, Joel has been able to go to school and pursue his interests. 🎓 His social worker describes Joel as being very intelligent and a leader in his class.

This month, Jenna and her husband were finally able to meet Joel! The years of consistent love and support led to this happy reunion filled with gratitude and celebration. 💙 We can't wait to see the amazing things Joel will accomplish!

"I spent nearly a quarter-century as a licensed counselor. I often suggested, even encouraged, boundaries as a way of healthy coping.

When I speak of a boundary, I think of something that’s semi-permeable. It’s there to protect you and ultimately, the relationship. The goal is to continue to maintain a relationship while protecting yourself.

The power of a goat! 🐐 For families in rural Uganda and Malawi, a goat is a savings account.

In any kind of emergency, from an injury to a poor harvest, a fully-grown goat can easily be sold to offset costs and help the family.

Providing goats to families is one way FCW strives to empower caregivers towards financial stability. The goats are easy to feed and care for. And offspring can also be given to other families to continue the blessings.

The best part? Even before the goats are fully grown, they benefit families by providing free fertilizer for their farms.🌱

This family's mud hut was very small and not stable enough to protect them from storms or wildlife (including snakes!) Now, the family can feel safe and secure in their new home.

When families face parental death, relocation for work, or other challenges, "𝙟𝙖𝙟𝙟𝙖𝙨 " raise their grandchildren, often many at a time. Today, we recognize the deep strength, sacrifice, and love that so many "𝙟𝙖𝙟𝙟𝙖𝙨 " share across generations. 💙
