THRIVE Rotary members — this is what we’ve all been waiting for!

Our Philanthropy Task Force has officially selected our fundraising events for the year, and now it’s time for leaders to rise up and help bring them to life. These events are more than fundraisers — they are what fuel our ability to serve, give back, and make a lasting impact in our community.

We are looking for members ready to step up, lead with passion, bring fresh ideas, and help make this an unforgettable year for THRIVE Rotary!

These events are what allow our club to give back, support local causes, and continue making an impact in our community. You will not be doing it alone — each event chair will have support from board liaisons and fellow Rotarians every step of the way. Co-chairs are welcome too!

Dear Fellow Rotarians, Family, and Friends, On Memorial Day, we don’t just remember—we show up.

As proud members of our Rotary family, we have a unique opportunity to honor those who served while celebrating the spirit of community and organized labor that strengthens our nation. We invite you to join your fellow Rotarians for the 2026 Memorial Day Parade as we carry the American flag through the heart of Bloomington.
Let’s turn the parade route into a sea of Rotary pride! Let’s march together in fellowship and gratitude.

📍 The Game Plan
Assembly Window: 8:15 AM – 8:45 AM
Kick-off: 9:00 AM sharp
Meeting Point: Corner of N Roosevelt Ave & W Front St (Just north of Grossinger Motors Arena). We will be lining up on the south side of Front Street between Roosevelt and Lee.
The Uniform: Your favorite Rotary Club shirt or any Rotary-themed gear.
The Finale: 10:30 AM at the Miller Park entrance.
Don’t leave early! We’ll be gathering across from the Miller Park bandstand immediately following the parade for a group photo of all participating clubs to celebrate our shared dedication to service.

🍬 A Few Ground Rules
To ensure the safety of the crowd and the beauty of our community, please keep the following in mind:
Keep it clean: No literature distribution (to prevent litter).
Safety first: If you’re bringing candy, it must be handed out by walkers only. Please do not throw candy from vehicles or wagons.
Keep it focused: No signs for candidates or causes; the focus is on service and remembrance
