West Bloomington Revitalization Project

Members of Bloomington-Normal Thrive Rotary joined nearly 200 community volunteers at the 10th Annual Bed Blitz at YouthBuild McLean County in Bloomington, helping build and deliver approximately 130 beds for local children in need. Organized by the West Bloomington Revitalization Project (WBRP), the event brings together volunteers, community partners, and donors to ensure children in the Bloomington-Normal area have a safe and comfortable place to sleep. In addition to bed frames, families receive essential bedding and other supportive items to help create a healthy home environment.

Thank you, WGLT, for promoting the Bed Blitz!

For a decade, the West Bloomington Revitalization Project’s Bed Blitz Program has been building beds for local children, many of whom previously had no bed to call their own.
