Add a veteran at any time.
Applications to add a veteran to the future Bloomington Veterans Memorial will be accepted year-round. Once your application is complete, you will be notified when your veteran is scheduled to be added to the Memorial.

An installation plan is still being developed, with additions planned on a regular basis each year.

The Bloomington Veterans Memorial continues to take shape at Harrison Park in Bloomington.

As a local nonprofit organization, we have worked tirelessly as a group of dedicated volunteers to bring this Veterans Memorial to the people of Bloomington.

This Memorial is for every veteran and family. Every day of service. Every sacrifice made to protect our country and our freedoms.

Stay tuned for the opening of the Bloomington Veterans Memorial later this fall. This will be a very special day—and a meaningful tribute to the veterans who have served our country.

Tomorrow is the deadline! Reserve your veteran's oversized symbolic dog tag (4 in×7 in) by August 1, 2026 to ensure it is included on the Bloomington Veterans Memorial for the Fall 2026 Dedication Ceremony.

Visit the Bloomington City Clerk's Office to submit your application and payment in person, or reserve and pay for your dog tag online. Each dog tag is $350.

UPDATE: We've extended the deadline to August 1, 2026, giving you more time to add a veteran's name to the Bloomington Veterans Memorial in time for this fall's Dedication Ceremony.
