🙌Update: Goal Achieved!!🙌 Thank you so much for your continued support! We couldn't do it without you!

🚨🐾 **FOLLOWERS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!** 🐾🚨

Sweet Minnie will be returning to RADD Dog Rescue through **no fault of her own.** ❤️🐶

While we work to get Minnie settled into her next chapter, she will need to spend **2 weeks at a board and train facility** until her foster family is able to welcome her into their home.

Unfortunately, this is an unexpected expense for the rescue, and we need your help!

💰 **Our goal is to raise $440 to cover Minnie's stay!**

❤️ If 44 people donate just $10, we can cover the entire cost!

🐾 Can't donate $10? Every $1, $5, or share makes a difference!

Rescue doesn't stop when unexpected challenges arise. We made a commitment to Minnie, and we intend to stand by her every step of the way. ❤️

🙏 **Please consider donating or sharing this post to help us raise the $440 Minnie needs!**

**Let's come together and show Minnie that her RADD family has her back!** 🐾❤️

Little 4.5-month-old Dean is wondering why no one has picked him. He couldn't be any better than he already is: housebroken, friendly, loves to cuddle, and a real sweetheart...and yet he waits. Dean is located in Southern New England and can be transported. He is at such a fun great age; it would be a great time to adopt this wonderful boy.
Dean is also vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his preventatives. Please give this boy a look! He would make a wonderful addition to any family! If interested submit an application through this link: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RADD/Dog?fbclid=IwY2xjawUaWkxwZG9mBWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMUFOZ1NwMUN3eXFycHlOWjZzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeC0debbYHW03SVtVIkEk_Q3Moj2Q40C9enekxuRBaOd5f0faJ_JX-LV32Wec_aem_4pn27NeuFuAMM78AoFW78Q

Feel free to send us any questions about him. His right match is out there somewhere!

Love Shepherds? We have a great boy who would love to be your best friend. He is a gorgeous Dutch Shepherd, recently neutered, and up to date on care. He is a bit of an Alpha and we want to place him as an only dog where we know he would thrive! He is not leash reactive and can play wonderfully with all sized dogs but has had some disagreements with his foster siblings.
This would make him a better candidate for a Shepherd knowledgeable adopter or foster.

Here is what is current fosters say:
Hi humans! My name is Ripley and I'm a magnificent brindle Dutch Shepherd. I was a nomad roaming the tough streets of Fort Worth before I got lucky and found myself some swanky new digs with a couple roommates. My private chef and chauffeur keep referring to this as my foster home but I'm not sure what that means, maybe it's another name for vacation home. 🧐 One of my roomies is a Belgian Malinois and we have a blast! She likes to run, play tug of war, and kill stuffies just like me! We had this little freeloader houseguest for a while, the humans called him a we**ie but I thought he was cool. I liked to play with him too.

The chef feeds us well with plenty of snacks in between meals. I like these big orange vegetables 🥕 she gives us to chomp on. We also get this 🦆 jerky snack that is amazing. I don't really like going to my room(or crate as they call it) but if they give me a snack I'll go and hang out in there for a while. In my free time I like to chew bones and run outside in the fenced yard.

The chauffeur took me for an annual checkup and the Dr said I was a prime specimen of a Dutch Shepherd and that I was beautiful. I prefer the term handsome maybe even debonair but whatever. They kept me overnight after my "neuter". It was cool they were nice even though the accommodations weren't what I've become accustomed too.

Nice as this place is, I am on the lookout for my next adventure. So if you're looking for a travel buddy I could be your guy! I ride great in a vehicle and I would love to get out and see places. I'm still young, only 10-11 months old and I have a lot of energy so if you're looking for a running or hiking buddy that sounds great too.

If interested, please message us. We can transport just about anywhere!

You may remember Mosby? He was on his way to euthanasia when a foster offered to take him. Unfortunately, the foster is no longer able to take him. This very sweet boy is waiting in boarding and that is not a good long-term option. If anyone would love to help change this boy's life, please send us a message!

He is about 1.5 years old, dog friendly, vaccinated, microchipped, on preventatives and just waiting.... He has such a hopeful face and maybe you can be the one who makes his dreams become reality!

Today we share a feel good update of Henry (formerly Optimus Prime)❤️

Henry had a sad story to tell of abandonment when his previous owner became incarcerated, only to be taken by animal control where he received some mouth injuries from the catchpole, causing him to be petrified of the shelter setting and initially, barrier reactive. You know what this means. Shelter notes that could pretty much become an instant death sentence. However, volunteer videos showed a different side of Henry. Despite never having an incident, a curtain was placed over Henry’s kennel where he was invisible to the public eye. He received no walks, and no further assessment, before then being placed in an outdoor kennel, panting, full of stress and fading further into the abyss of the forgotten dogs, to be euthanized at any given moment.
That’s when we took the chance and made the decision to pull Henry out of the shelter. With barely any notes to go by, we prayed to the dog gods that our intuition would be right. After a short stint in local foster care, an amazing couple adopted Henry. It was a rocky road in the beginning, but they pushed forward and updates like this remind us why we continue to fight for the underdogs and the forgotten souls of the world. A reminder that we can’t always judge a book by its cover and challenging beginnings CAN come out on the other side with patience, understanding, and love.

Here is Henry living the dream, boating with his family.
He is doing fantastic and is as happy as can be ❤️ (and who knew he would become such a great swimmer?)

We want to thank anyone who have persevered through challenges to make it to the other side. Seeing updates like these keep our rescue world going round!

We need six special adopters. 🥹
Have you ever met someone you don't want to be around or find yourself unhappy in large crowds or get nervous when strangers come up to you? If you answered yes to any of these, we may have your soul dog.

We have six dogs who need just a little adjusting to their routines to be their happiest doggy selves.

Let's start with Max the black lab- he is in board and train and doing fabulous. He is almost the perfect dog, but can get nervous when meeting new people, which comes across as sometimes making a low growl. Now, don't let that turn you away. Most of the rescue team also have a similar dog and we adjust accordingly to help our dogs feel comfortable. He is a real sweetheart and dog friendly! He is in PA

Evie is next up. She is dog friendly, fiercely loyal to her family, which has the downside of making strangers who walk in the house appear dangerous to her. She truly is as sweet as can be other than this protectiveness. She would thrive in a low traffic home. She is in PA

Mr. Friendly is our next boy- just recently testing heartworm negative- Congratulations Mr. Friendly!!- He is in a foster home. He is a great boy wonderful with humans but finds other dogs a source of grumpiness. He doesn't become Cujo when encountering other dogs, but he is unhappy with the playful antics of his fur foster siblings. We are looking for a home where he is an only dog. He is in Maine.

Minnie had a meet and greet and did amazing. No signs of any issues. She had one incident when a stranger walked into the house. But again, the rescue team has dogs like this and we restrain or move the dog to a safe area when someone needs to enter the property. This is very doable and if you feel you can manage that, Minnie would be a great addition to your home. We do know she has played wonderfully with other dogs. But since she is an only dog, we want to keep her life as normal as possible. We are looking for a home that is for an only dog, likes to exercise with their dog, and can safely restrain her when someone enters the house. She is in PA.

Old Max has had a tough journey. Like the others, he was dumped at a kill shelter, but already as an old man. To boot, he was heartworm positive. 😞 Luckily he was treated, but he is now needing a rehome due to a family crisis. Max has been incited by another dog and things escalated. Max has lived with other dogs with no problems, but a neighborhood dog (probably the neighborhood bully) got him all riled up. Because of this, he can be leash reactive, although he isn't always. We are looking for a home that is more rural where he can rest calmly and avoid the furry neighborhood bullies. He is in PA.

Chance- He is loving, intelligent, playful, crate trained, and wonderful in the home. After completing 9 weeks of professional obedience training, he has made great progress and thrives with structure, exercise, mental enrichment, and consistent handling. He does struggle with fear-based leash reactivity around unfamiliar dogs, so he would do best with an experienced, confident owner who will continue his training. We believe an adult-only, preferably only-dog home with a securely fenced yard would be the best fit for him. He has so much love to give and deserves a home committed to helping him continue to succeed. Located in PA
