Another 40 beds ready for local kids thanks to the $ponsor Centennial Christian and great help from community and VT Corps of Cadets. 147 volunteers got er done in just over 3 hours.

Bedlessness isn't a real word. But for millions of kids, it's a very real problem.

Behind closed doors, children are sleeping on floors, couches, and piles of blankets, or sharing a bed with siblings. It's called child bedlessness, also known as bed poverty, and because it happens where no one can see it, it's easy to miss.

At Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we're changing that. Volunteers with 430+ SHP chapters across the country build and deliver beds for kids who need them, made possible by generous donors and partners. And we believe no family should feel ashamed to ask for one.
