🚨 June 24th is Emergency Notification System (ENS) Sign Awareness Day 🚨

ENS signs provide a direct phone number and crossing identification information to report:
✔️ Stalled vehicles on tracks
✔️ Signal malfunctions
✔️ Crossing gate issues
✔️ Any emergency involving a railroad crossing

If you ever encounter a problem at a crossing, locate the blue ENS sign and call the number listed immediately. The information on the sign helps railroads quickly identify the exact crossing and respond faster.

Harvest season often means early mornings, long days, and equipment on the move. But while the sun may not be up yet, trains are already running.

Always slow down, look both ways, and never assume a track is inactive. Trains can operate at any time, on any track.

Celebrate Great Outdoors Month by getting outside and exploring safely!

As you enjoy trails, parks, and outdoor activities, remember that railroad tracks are private property. Always use designated crossings and stay off the tracks.

🚧 Today is Trespass Awareness Day, a reminder that railroad tracks are private property and trespassing is both illegal and extremely dangerous.

Every year, preventable tragedies occur when people walk, bike, or play on or near railroad tracks. Trains are often quieter and move faster than they appear, and they cannot stop quickly.

Help spread the message and make rail safety a priority.

Planting season is here across North Dakota and South Dakota! 🌱🚜

As you move equipment between fields, always use designated railroad crossings and stay alert around the tracks. Slow down, look both ways, and remember trains can come from either direction at any time.

A few extra seconds can make all the difference in getting everyone home safely.

It’s World Bicycle Day 🚲

Whether you’re riding for fun, fitness, or transportation, safety should always be part of the journey. If possible, walk, don’t ride across the tracks, and always cross at a 90-degree angle, as a narrow bike wheel can get caught.

Remember, trains are quieter and faster than you think. Make safe choices on every ride.

Remember: Tracks are for trains, not shortcuts.

Never walk on or close to railroad tracks. Always cross at designated areas and stay alert.

May is National Photography Month 📸

Attention Photographers! Railroad tracks are never a safe location for photos. Trains can approach quickly and quietly, creating dangerous situations for photographers and clients.
