Harvest season often means long days and late nights in the field. Before crossing railroad tracks, take a moment to plan ahead and protect yourself and your equipment.

🛑 Cross only at designated railroad crossings.
📏 Make sure the crossing can safely accommodate your equipment and load.
👀 Check your load and clearance before approaching the tracks.
🚆 Never stop on the tracks and always be prepared for a train.

Every day, school bus drivers carry our most precious cargo. When approaching railroad crossings, your safety checks can make all the difference!

🛑 Stop at every required railroad crossing.
👀 Look both ways and listen for approaching trains.
🚦 Never enter the tracks unless you have enough room to clear them completely.
🚧 Never drive around lowered crossing gates. Wait until the gates are fully raised and it’s safe to cross.

Remember, trains cannot stop quickly. Your commitment to railroad safety helps protect the students who depend on you every day.

Railroad Property is Private Property.

Trespassing is both illegal and extremely dangerous. Every year, preventable tragedies occur when people walk, bike, or play on or near railroad tracks. Trains are often quieter and move faster than they appear, and they cannot stop quickly.

Help spread the message and make rail safety a priority.
