It’s Labor Day Weekend. Celebrate safely, especially if you’re traveling. The National Safety Council estimates 434 people may die in traffic crashes this Labor Day Weekend, up 2% from 2025. These crashes are preventable by prioritizing roadway safety.

The unofficial end of summer should be fun, not fatal.

From all of us at NDSC, we wish you a fun and safe holiday weekend. All NDSC offices will be closed Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.

September is National Preparedness Month, a great reminder that emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. The best time to prepare is before something happens.
