What does agriculture look like through the eyes of elementary students? 🌱🍔

Stanley FFA gave students the chance to learn where their food comes from through hands on activities, including making butter, exploring soil, and connecting agriculture to the foods they see every day.

🌟 BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT | ALLEN GIESE 🌟

Meet Allen Giese, a retired agricultural education teacher who spent more than 30 years inspiring students at Wahpeton High School!

FFA has been part of Allen’s life for over 50 years, helping him discover his calling in agricultural education. Today, he continues giving back through the ND FFA Foundation.

💙 Why he serves: Helping FFA members find success and opportunities
🌾 Hometown: Appleton, MN, where he grew up on a crop & livestock farm
🏆 Proud accomplishment: 2003 Milken Educator Award recipient
🎣 Favorites: Fishing, hunting & gardening

Allen lives by a simple reminder: “You can’t save the world, but you can change your own backyard.”

We’re grateful for Allen’s lifelong commitment to agricultural education and North Dakota FFA!
