Through Scouting America’s Exploring program, young people ages 10 to 20 are building and flying their own drones, earning recreational drone flyer certificates and connecting with real-world careers in aviation, farming, surveying and more.

In Oklahoma, one council called it an “Explorer explosion.” In Massachusetts, fly days are fun and well attended. And it’s all hands-on.
