✨Last night, Quad Cities women came together to spend an evening Designing New Connections at our summer social and the energy in the room was incredible. From meaningful conversations and new introductions to plenty of laughter and inspiration, we were reminded once again of the power of women supporting women. 💛

A huge thank you to Michelle Blunk and the team at WITHIN for sponsoring and hosting this event in their absolutely gorgeous showroom. We loved celebrating connection and community in a space created by a woman-owned and 100% women-led business.

Special thanks to our volunteers, Mariah Lanning, Megan Tarasi, and Crystal Clark, for helping create our Designing New Connections networking experience and to all of our Engagement Committee Volunteers for making the evening so engaging and memorable!

💛 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our Designing a New Life Donation Drive benefiting One Eighty. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect much-needed items for the women at One Eighty's residential home while also learning more about the important work their team does every day to support individuals facing crisis, poverty, and addiction. Your donations are a beautiful reminder of what can happen when women come together to lift one another up.

We're also grateful to Marisa Cantu of Savory Bites for the stunning (and delicious!) grazing board that kept everyone fueled throughout the evening. Another incredible woman-owned business we're proud to support!

As we head into the weekend, we hope the new connections, fresh ideas, and Lead(h)er spark from last night continue long after the event. ✨

Melissa Pepper, founder of Lead(h)er, was named a 2026 Women of Influence honoree by the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal , and this community has every reason to celebrate her.

Melissa built this organization because she saw what was missing and decided to fill the gap herself. A dedicated space for professional women to be mentored, connected, and genuinely invested in. What she created has left a mark on this community that keeps showing up in the women Lead(h)er serves every year.
