Last month we had a lovely visit from a few members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints ( Midwest Latter-day Saints ) who had gathered and donated dry goods and canned goods for our food pantry network. This food was distributed to a few different food pantries in the Quad Cities, including our neighbors at Luther Knoll Senior apartments. Donations like these are vital to the health and wellbeing of so many in our community. Thank you to the Latter-Day Saint community for your generosity and Christian love for your neighbors.

A big thank you to Faith Lutheran Church Eldridge for serving at our Meal Site. Every meal means so much 🙏

The Fellowship team and church members prepared and served meals for the Churches United meal site. They served 100 servings to 72 individuals. Such a great community organization providing meals to those in need.

Have you heard of our Hot Meal Site located at Zion Lutheran Church? Our meal site is not only a place to go for a hot meal, it's also a place where you can expect, community, companionship, as well as some extra supplies! Whenever we receive donations of hygiene products, cleaning supplies/household items, clothing, shoes, etc. We put it out for our guests to take whatever they may need. We believe in serving our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Hello Quad Cities! We are doing big things and we need your help!
Donations made to Churches United helps us:

• Fund our Hunger Relief Ministry Van, which picks up large food donations.

• Save for a Food Truck that will serve as our Mobile Meal Site, bringing meals to neighborhoods and community spaces where people lack access to food.

• Operate our Hot Meal Site at Zion Lutheran Church, which serves hot meals Monday through Friday.

• Provide emergency services to individuals and families in need.
