Congratulations to Meg Schebler Quad Cities Sport Initiative VP on being recognized for her involvement with sports in the Quad Cities by Visit Quad Cities. Meg's work in our community is a continued inspiration to all girls and women in sports.
We recently asked the community to nominate women who deserve recognition for their contributions to sports in the QC, and we received some incredible responses.
Next up is Meg Schebler! Meg, a native of Davenport, IA has been involved in sports from the time she could throw a baseball and shoot a basketball. She has been a tireless advocate for girls and women in sports her entire career. Schebler has been involved in collegiate athletics for almost 30 years and currently serves as the Commissioner of the Continental Athletic Conference, a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Her past committee work has included the Hall of Fame and Honors Committee and the Champions of Character Advisory Committee.
