Next Friday is Young Adult Hangout at Prism Academy in Berlin 🩵

Join us September 11 from 6–8 PM for Talent Night: Share & Show, open to ages 18–35.

Bring a talent, hobby, special interest, project, or favorite item to share, or just come hang out, cheer on friends, and enjoy a meal together. No pressure to present!

September is here and we have a lot coming up at Autism Families CONNECTicut, Inc.! 🍂

Registration is now open for events and programs throughout the fall, and our Family Open Houses start next weekend. If you’re new to AFC, or just want to stop by and see what our programs are like, drop in anytime from 10:30 AM–12 PM for one or all of our September Open Houses:

🍁 Sept. 13: Gym Activities & Games
🍁 Sept. 20: Dance & Movement
🍁 Sept. 27: Music & Rhythm

We also have Young Adult Hangout, Teen Night, and our NEW Community Hangout program for ages 16+ starting this month.

Unless otherwise noted, AFC programs are held at Prism Academy in Berlin.

Family Open Houses are coming this September! ⭐

Whether you’re new to AFC, a returning family, or just want to learn more about what we offer, we’d love to see you at one of our Sunday Family Open Houses! Stop by to meet our team, explore our programs, ask questions, and enjoy a different activity each week.

September 13: Gym Activities
September 20: Dance
September 27: Music

Families are welcome to drop in between 10:30 AM–12:00 PM at Prism Academy, 166 Lincoln Street, Berlin.

Free for all ages. We’d love to see you there!

Already planning to register for fall programs? Registration for Playing on the Spectrum (Ages 3–10) and Leisure Explorers (Ages 11–16) will go live mid-August.

Join us for Teen Night on Friday, August 21! We’ll be wrapping up summer with lawn games, a cookout, and time to relax, connect, and have fun with friends in a welcoming environment for autistic and neurodivergent teens ages 13–17.

Join us on Friday, August 7 for Young Adult Hangout! We’ll be enjoying lawn games, grilled burgers and hot dogs, and a relaxed evening with friends. Participants are welcome to bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share.
