Speak Up for Accessible Parks
East Bay Regional Park District is creating a new district plan that will guide priorities and improvements for the next 10 years — and your voice matters.

BORP is partnering with East Bay Parks to gather feedback from individuals and families living with disabilities to help ensure the plan reflects the needs of every community they serve.
This is an important opportunity to share your experiences, needs, and ideas for improving access to East Bay parks and programs.

Take the brief survey today for a chance to win a $35 gift card.
Help shape a more inclusive and accessible future for our parks.

Today (April 28) is the first National Adaptive Sports Day—also marking the anniversary of Section 504, a landmark disability rights law rooted in Bay Area activism. BORP was founded in that same movement, grounded in the belief that disabled people deserve access to sport, joy, and community.

Today, that legacy is in action. Thanks to BORP community member Michelle Jenkins, all Rev Ride donations are being matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000.

Michelle is a wheelchair basketball player, coach, and active BORP participant who knows firsthand the power of adaptive sports and community care. Now she’s giving back to help sustain it.

We met our last match in under 48 hours—let’s do it again.

Give today and double your impact. borp.rallybound.org

A $10,000 match for the Rev, in honor of Will’s journey.

The Rev is more than a ride. For Will and his family, it has been a way back to movement, independence, joy, and community. Ten years ago, Will sustained a spinal cord injury at age 14. Not long after, his family found BORP’s Adaptive Cycling Center, where short, exhausting rides gradually grew into longer distances, bigger climbs, and many Rev rides alongside his dad, Randy.

Now, in honor of this ten-year milestone, Randy Randleman, BORP Board Treasurer, and his family are making a $10,000 matching gift to the Rev. Right now, every dollar donated will go twice as far to support BORP’s adaptive sports, fitness, and recreation programs for disabled youth and adults across the Bay Area.

As BORP celebrates 50 years, this match is a chance to help sustain the programs that make movement, belonging, confidence, and joy possible. Register for the Rev, start fundraising, or make a gift today to help us meet the match.

Register today at borp.rallybound.org and join us on Sunday, May 3 in Mill Valley.
