The Operations Section is recruiting! Ops exists to support the Berkeley Free Clinic by coordinating projects and services that affect multiple sections of the clinic. We work behind the scenes as a non-client facing section.

The IRC runs the front desk and we offer referrals to community resources, harm reduction, hygiene and safe s*x supplies. Come join a great group of people who are passionate about making the clinic safe and accessible for all!

Certified Enrollment Counselors provide regular drop-in hours for 1:1 specialized assistance with applications! On every 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, from 12 to 2 pm.

No appointment needed - just drop by!

The Covered California open enrollment period is almost here! It runs from Nov 1, 2025, through Jan 31, 2026.

During this time, applicants can sign up for a new health insurance plan, renew or change an existing plan.
